One of the greatest joys of my work is seeing your love and family expand over time, from your first couple photos, to your engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, and family sessions. Being able to capture these special moments and create lasting memories for you is truly a privilege.
I won't lie, one of the best perks of this job is getting to meet amazing people and capture their unique stories through my lens. For me, it's not just about taking pretty pictures—it's about connecting with my clients and bringing out their true personalities and beauty. And let me tell you, when we hit it off, it's like we're instant BFFs. That's why I don't just see my clients as clients—they become friends, and every new connection is a total treasure
I never thought I’d be a full-time photographer. I actually earned my MBA and spent some time working for corporate America. But, I quickly realized that the 9-5 lifestyle, coupled with the long commute, was taking too much time away from her.
Capturing her fleeting moments of wonder and discovery sparked a passion in me for creating images that capture the beauty and joy of life in all its forms, as is what inspired me to begin this career in the first place.
As I've grown and developed as a photographer, my daughter remains my guiding light, and my motivation to create images that celebrate the love, connection, and magic of the world around us.
I know it can be hard to overcome insecurities and jump in front of the camera, but nothing brings me more joy than making my clients feel comfortable and confident during their sessions. Hearing how obsessed they are with their photos and how they can't wait to do it again makes my heart sing.
I want everyone to know that it doesn't matter what you look like because these moments happen so fast, and you’ll always want to look back on them whether it’s your engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, and ultimately, family photos.
That experience taught me an important lesson: life is short and precious, and we should cherish every moment.
I have ample photos of Ava’s growth, but very few photos with her (including no maternity photos) because I was self-conscious about my appearance, and I wish that I just took the damn photos!
That experience taught me an important lesson: life is short and precious, and we should cherish every moment.
I deeply encourage moms (and dads) to get in front of the camera with their children because time flies by so quickly, and tomorrow isn't promised.
