My aunt Wendy is amazing, and this past weekend she (and a few of her friends) came down from Philly to run in the Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon. She said the hills were killer, but the views were gorgeous, and I believe it! While we waited to see her at mile 13 in the last stretch before she crossed the finish line, we were in awe at the views. Oh, and it’s a “Wine Country” half marathon and all, so it started at Breaux Vineyards and ended at Doukenie Winery. My aunt and the girls she ran with had shirts made that said: “Will run for wine.” Hah! LOVE IT!
